Step 3. Install Kodi on Firestick

Downloader is a reliable source, and you should not face any difficulty installing Kodi through it. However, if you have a premium subscription of the popular file manager ESFileExplorer, you might want to reconsider your options.
The free version of ESFileExplorer does not support free sideloading of third-party apps any longer. You will require a premium subscription that costs $9.99 per month, whereas the Downloader is entirely free. If you have already installed Kodi using this method, you may skip this one.
Install Kodi on Firestick using ESFileExplorer
Follow the steps mentioned below to install Kodi on your Firestick using ES File Explorer:
- Power-On your Firestick.
- Go to Settings>My Fire TV.
- Click on Developer Options.
- Allow Apps to install from Unknown sources by clicking on “Apps from Unknown Sources.”
- Go to the Home page of your Firestick and click on the “Search” icon at the top left corner of your screen.
