Hello people, we will talk about the highly popular and in-demand Kodi Addon Exodus Redux and Exodus V8. I will guide you through a simple and detailed process of how to install Exodus Redux and Exodus V8 Kodi Addons on your Firestick and other streaming devices.
How to install Exodus Redux and Exodus V8 Kodi Addons
Exodus Redux and Exodus are very similar but two different Addons. Redux is newer compared to the Exodus, both the Addons have the same layout and very similar interface.
Exodus Redux started as a clone of the very popular Exodus, but have risen above its clone parent by providing everything it is providing, with regular updates. The original Exodus was abandoned by its developers and went offline for a while. That is basically why the clone came to join the party.
The old Exodus did return after a while with the aid of a few independent developers. It started providing regular updates, but the newer version of the addon (Exodus Redux) feels smoother and more convenient.
Although I am using an Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K and Windows to illustrate the installation, these guides demonstrated here work perfectly well for the installation of Exodus Redux and Exodus V8 on any Kodi Devices.

When using third-party addons on Kodi, using a secure VPN is strongly advised. That is due to a few reasons. Kodi is an open-source media player, and it does not check every single addon and repositories in their database. Some of the third-party addons may break into your device and access your private data.
Both Exodus V8 and Redux are third-party addons, while they are used widely all over the world; they are not safe for your safety. That is why using a VPN is necessary.
One of the reasons to use a secure VPN is that these addons provide access to a lot of illegal and copyrighted content. While it is legal to stream the content available to the public domain, streaming the copyrighted content, knowingly or unknowingly, may result in legal action against you from your ISP.
The other thing to consider while using these addons is that these addons use torrenting to scrape links for the content you request. Torrenting puts your privacy at high risk. It exposes your IP Address to a lot of peers that support that torrent.
How a VPN works
A secure VPN lets you mask your IP Address and use an IP Address, which is potentially a thousand miles away from you. That saves you from the invasion of your privacy and prevents you from the legal action from authorities or your IPS if you unknowingly access the copyrighted content.
Choosing a VPN is an important step. One thing to consider while choosing a VPN is that a lot of free VPNs expose your privacy even more than it already is. So be careful about which VPN provider you want, and ensure that they use secure encryption to provide you with proper security.
Here I am listing the best VPN you can use for multiple uses and Kodi:
1. ExpressVPN: ExpressVPN is currently the Best VPN for Kodi and other uses. ExpressVPN lets you bypass any restrictions that may be imposed on you because of the unavailability of the content in your area. You can use a secure IP Address from the country in which that content is available.
2. NordVPN: NordVPN is the second-best VPN you can use right now. It provides its users with the best online security possible. It has thousands of servers all around the world, with some of them dedicated to P2P, which gives the users the safest surfing and streaming possible.
3. CyberGhost: CyberGhost is an excellent VPN for Kodi. It is a zero-log provider, and it allows BitTorrent and other P2P network traffic. Since these Addons use torrent links as well, CyberGhost will ensure your privacy and safety.
Here I am providing a complete step-by-step tutorial on how you can install Exodus Redux and Exodus V8 on your device. If you are very new to Kodi and are using it for the first time, the first thing you will need to do before installing third-party addons is to enable Unknown Sources.

What are Exodus and Exodus Redux? Are they both the same?
Exodus is a very old and immensely popular Kodi Addon. It was the most popular Addon a couple of years ago before it was discontinued for a while.
Exodus Redux is a clone Addon of the old Exodus. It surfaced as Incursion to replace the then shut-down Exodus, before rebranding itself to Exodus Redux.
No, they are not the same. Although they have almost identical interface and experience, they are two different Addons that come from two different Repositories.
Are Exodus and Exodus Redux legal?
Yes, it is completely legal to use Exodus and Exodus Redux on your Kodi, as long as you stream only the content that is open to the public domain.
Exodus and Exodus Redux, both the addons use many pirate sites to scrape for links, that is not legal if you don’t know what you are streaming is legitimate or not, better not stream it, doing that might end you up in judicial custody.
One thing you can do is use a secure VPN when you are using these addons. That will mask your IP, and you wouldn’t have to worry about the accidental streaming of the pirated content, although it is advised not to stream the pirated content.
Is a VPN necessary to run Exodus Redux and Exodus?
No, it is not necessary to use a VPN to run either one of these addons, or any addon for that matter, unless an addon is only available in a particular region.
Not all the addons are available globally; a few of them might be limited to some countries or one country. If you don’t live in the country that addon is available in and still want to use that addon, you can get an IP of that country by using a secure VPN and access the addon.
