Today I’m going to explain to you how to install PVR IPTV Simple Client On Kodi. You will also get to learn how to configure this add-on to your device. By the end, you’ll have a surprise too!
So let’s get started!
For our new players, let’s start our journey by learning what PVR IPTV Simple Client is.
If you already know about it, skip to the next session where I’ve mentioned the steps to install PVR IPTV Simple Client On Kodi.
What Is PVR IPTV Simple Client?
Don’t go with its complex name, PVR IPTV Simple Client is a Kodi add-on that enables the app to download IPTV Live TV and Radio channels.
Didn’t get it? Let’s break it down for you!
The full form of IPTV is Internet Protocol Television. With this add-on, you can stream television services through the internet instead of regular cable or satellite channels.
Simply said, you can watch Live TV on Kodi with PVR IPTV Simple Client.
Wait, there’s more!
You can listen to your favorite tunes through the internet radio, as you can upload M3U directly on your device, be it Amazon Firestick, Windows PC, Android, Mac, or just about any device.
You need to set up this add-on on Kodi in order to work. Otherwise, it will be an add-on that adds nothing to your device.
To wrap things up, you need to integrate your current IPTV service with PVR IPTV Simple Client to watch media on Kodi.
You must ask for one of the followings from your IPTV service provider:
– M3U Playlist URL
– XMLTV EPG URL
If you don’t know what the M3U file is, it is a file format for defining multimedia playlists. You can enjoy not only audio but video files as well.
XMLTV EPG is a format to arrange TV programs in an organized manner. It is an Electronic Program Guide.
Your service provider should have sent these URLs to your registered mail ID with your app login credentials.
Without at least one of these, you won’t be able to stream live TV programs using PVR IPTV Simple Client on Kodi. (Don’t worry if you don’t have one, we’ve given a few at the end!)
Let’s not take much time and start the process of installing PVR IPTV Simple Client on Kodi.
Before You Start, Read This!
I want to remind you before you start using Kodi and its add-on. Everything you stream online is vulnerable.
You should use a VPN (Virtual Private Network) for Kodi. A VPN will create an anonymous identity on the internet that will keep you safe from prying eyes.
With a Kodi VPN on your device, you can access unlimited media content and avoid all ISP limitations. Moreover, it saves you from getting any infringement or copyright notices.
If you use a trusted Kodi VPN, you can enjoy high-speed streaming. So you can watch your favorite movie in HD quality without buffering.
Who wouldn’t like it, correct?
If you don’t want to hassle and subscribe to one of the best VPNs, we’ve given a quick guide to installing ExpressVPN by the end of the article.

Reliable sources for M3U playlists
As we mentioned, if you don’t have the M3U links, you can use these:
- https://iptv-org.github.io/iptv/index.m3u (Collection of 8000+ publicly available IPTV channels)
- https://iptv-org.github.io/iptv/index.country.m3u (grouped by country)
